I'm not good with the numbers and what not, but I'll try my best. Staff Changes General Manager: Tom Gamble Offensive Coordinator: Ken Whisenhunt Notable Cuts - Bart Scott (saves $7.1 mil) - Calvin Pace (saves $8.5 mil) - Jason Smith (saves $12 million) - Eric Smith (saves $3 million) Restructures - David Harris (I read somewhere that 4 of San Francisco's starters are gonna get combined what Harris is getting next season, work something out.) - Antonio Cromartie (he played well, but in my opinion it's either restructure or trade Cromartie. I DO NOT WANT TO TRADE REVIS.) Extensions - Laron Landry (4 yr/15-20 mil) - Darrelle Revis (3 yr/33 mil) - Braylon Edwards (1 yr/1 mil) Walks - Yeremiah Bell - Mike DeVito - Chaz Schilens - Brandon Moore (probably will retire) - Bryan Thomas - Nick Folk - Shonn Greene - Dustin Keller Trades - Tim Tebow to Jacksonville for a 6th round pick - Antonio Cromartie to Houston for a 3rd and a 6th if doesn't restructure - Mark Sanchez traded somewhere, not sure where but it wouldn't be for much, maybe a 7th. if not cut him. Free Agent Signings - Matt Moore, QB (1 yr/4 mil) - Todd Heap, TE (1 yr/1 mil) we lock Revis and Laron up. don't make a big splash in FA. I would love to have Jake Long but that simply will not happen. Draft 1. Manti Te'o (ILB, Notre Dame) - I think there's a good chance he can fall to us but if not we definitely go offensive line. 2. Larry Warford (OG, Kentucky) - we trade back to pick up another 3. 3a. Landry Jones (QB, Oklahoma) - Mike Glennon could fall into the 3rd, but if not we should look towards Jones or Nassib. 3b. Philip Thomas (S, Fresno State) - I love this kid, a ball hawk safety paired with Landry would be huge. 3c. Dion Sims (TE, Michigan State) - this pick is here only if we traded Cromartie to Houston. our new starting TE. 4. Trevardo Williams (DE/OLB, Connecticut) - a pure pass rusher at linebacker. a big need. 5. Marcus Lattimore (RB, South Carolina) - a risky pick but if he can produce in the NFL it would be fantastic. would be a backup under Powell. 6a. Conner Vernon (WR, Duke) - had a solid year, good speed and size. 6b. Seantrel Henderson (OT, Miami) - this pick is from Jax in the Tebow trade. would add depth to our OLine. 6c. Philip Lutzenkirchen (TE, Auburn) - pick is from Houston in Cromartie trade. Sims/Lutz is our response to NE's Gronk/Hernandez 7. Theo Riddick (RB, Notre Dame) - if he falls into the 7th round I would take him. the combo of Powell/Lattimore/Riddick could be great. that's what I came up with for now, if you have any questions or concerns, shoot. Like I said I'm no whiz when it comes to the numbers, so I bet I made mistakes somewhere.
I like Gamble and Whisenhunt, don't like your draft. Te'o is a good player, not a difference maker. Need an edge rusher and this is the year to get one.
Very realistic and very much what I would love to see. If I had to pick at something it's Landry Jones. Though I haven't watched more than a handful of his games, I just don't see any real pro potential there. However, love the rest, keeping Revis (who everyone wants to ship off) and Landry, and drafting a defensive anchor in Teo would more than satisfy me and build a monster defense for years to come. Also like the absence of rash free agent spending that has defined our offseasons for the past few years. Good job
