i'd be cool with that draft with the exception that i would like to take a TE. I have no faith in Jolley and this draft has alot of good pass catching TEs that you could find in the 3rd rd like David Thomas, Klopfenstein, Tim Day, Marcedes Lewis and Fasano(if they falls that far)

yea i would really like 5 TE's on my roster too...3 that are still under 30.

Thats crazy, we can't take a TE unless we have totally addressed EVERY OTHER NEED.

As for the mock draft, McNeill will easily go first round.
Addai may not even last until 35, let alone 71.

I would cry tears of joy if that was what our draft looked like. However, in terms of practicality, no way does any of that happen.

Oh yeah, because Jolley and Dearth are such studs. We couldnt possibly upgrade over those 2 Kellen Winslow clones. I cant wait till they smash every record in the book.

First of all, that was sarcasm, vilmaisabeast.

Second of all, PRPitbull, Chris Baker is back too in addition to Jolley and Dreessen. No none of them are Kellen Winslow Sr. clones. The only TE who slightly compares to him in this draft is Vernon Davis.

Certainly Tim Day, Anthony Fasano or Marcedes Lewis will shatter every record in the book though...

I like Chris Baker, i just want a solid #2 TE, give Baker a push and then we could possibly have 2 good TEs, run some 2 TE sets like NE does with Graham and Watson. I dont see Jolley doing much and Dreessen can work as our long snapper. We cut Jolley and Dearth.

dearth is our long snapper... thats why hes on our roster
how can you seriously want us to draft a TE.. that is probably the only position that we do not need help at
baker is a starter and jolley is a great backup
after we address our glarring needs at QB, RB, OL, DL, and DB, maybe-just maybe-we can add a TE

because Dreessen can long snap, and hes more of a TE than Dearth. Jolley absolutely blows. He performed OK in one game last season. This guy was suppose to come in and be our starting TE. He was suppose to be an excellent pass catching TE. He hasnt done anything. I rather have David Thomas or Lewis be our pass catching TE. I dont even like him as a backup.

Jolley was not necessarily supposed to come in and start. Of course from our point of view he absolutely should have considering what we gave up for him. But, possibly from the FO's point of view, he could have been a better option than Heath Miller (the TE we almost definitly would have taken if we kept our 1st rounder). He is a good pass catching TE, and maybe with a decent QB he can excel. He would be a backup with any other team, so why not with us.

I agree with the statement that Dreessen is more of a TE than Dearth, but not every TE doubles as a long snapper. Unless you have some info that I don't, we really can't assume that Dreessen can long snap.
