Picked 6th in first round and each team had 3 keepers from last year going into the draft. Mine were Rodgers, Gore, and Calvin Johnson. Also had no 5th round pick due to trade.

    QB- Rodgers, Favre
WR- Johnson, Welker, Johnny Knox, Meachum, Cotchery, Mike Williams (TB rookie)
RB- Gore, Lesean McCoy, Ricky, Fred Jackson
TE- Jermichael Finley, our boy DK
    K- Robbie Gould
    DEF-San Fran, San Diego

I think I did very well all things considered. I really don't see a weak link or lack of depth at any position. Only risk is the Saga of Favre. But I figured fuck it I'll take a chance it's not like Rodgers is ever gona hit the bench this season anyways cept bye week.

Oh and the format is 2 WR 2 RB and a W/R flex player for the starting lineup.

If that's a 12 team league I'm sure you have the best team in your league.

WR depth is definitely your biggest weakness, especially because Welker has to be thought of as a slight injury risk right now and we don't really know if he still has that same explosiveness (although I wouldn't bet against him).

You are going to be starting a question mark in your flex position, but Ricky Williams and Fred Jackson could both end up being decent options.

Gore has taken plenty of hits already through his career because of his running style, and McCoy hasn't proven much yet.

All that being said, you have the top QB, top 5 RB, top 5 WR, top 5 D, and a top 5 TE. You have solid backups at QB, TE, and RB... although I would be more comfortable with 1 more RB and 1 less WR since you generally should be going RB in your flex spot.

I would be very happy with that team.

Thanks for the words. I should clarify it is a 10 team league with a PPR format. I'm a big believer in having tons of Quality WR's and honestly with the way i expect things to shape up I'm probably going to be plugging in Johnny Knox in the flex position quite a bit. I might use Meachum as trade bait to get another lower quality RB for depth later on if I need to.

The Commish of our league did a preseason ranking of our teams and rated me 5th. I put myself at 3rd but it all depends on how the season progresses in the end.
