I just made the Jet's last pick in RD 7, some huge steals in this live computer draft.

    Link: http://www.fastmockdraft.com/Draft.php?draft=53

Click on the draft link......to see the actual draft in progress.

RD 1 Mario Williams DE NCST
RD 1 Nick Mangold C OSU
    RD 2 Max Jean-Giles G Georgia
RD 3 Brodie Croyle QB Bama
RD 3 Martin Nance WR Miami-Ohio (Huge Steal at the end of day 1)
Rd 4 Dee Webb CB Florida ( RD 2 on my Draft board)
Rd 4 Zach Strief OT Northwestern (underrated, perfect RT)
Rd 5 Stephen Tulloch OLB NCST
Rd 7 Dontrell Moore RB NM
Rd 7 David Pittman CB Northwestern ST (Huge steal)

I would have liked to have drafted a DT, but there was much better Value on the board everytime it was the Jet's turn to select.

I love the Martin Nance pick. Ive been eyeing him or Maurice Stovall with that last pick on day 1

Tulloch in the 5th is an absolute steal. A bit undersized, but the kid is fast, and just a flat out football player.

I'd be pretty stoked about that draft, although I would want to take a Tackle much higher, perhaps at the expense of MJG or Brodie Croyle.

WW85, an excellent draft, but I'm curious what OT's you passed on for Max Jean Giles. I like Giles, but I'm not sure if they need him AND Mangold.

Devil..Thx! Jon Scott was drafted by the Texans at the top of Rd 2. The best 4 OTs, in order, available on my board were O'Callaghan, Whitworth, Colledge & Strief. IMO, all 4 were reaches at the top of rd 2. I'm more of a value, BPA GM in the mocks I participate in. I very rarely reach for a player. Strief hasn't got much pub, but is a big, nasty OT, that would be a perfect RT and can contribute very shortly. Strief's ability is very similar to Whitworth and Colledge. Jean-Gilles can step in right away........Pete's age and Brandon is adequate. Our O-Line depth chart looks like Swiss Cheese.

You can see most of my selections are very good value and fill most needs, the extra CB in rd 7 was a luxury, but Pittman was too good to pass up. There also were some very good TEs available in rd 7 and almost took one.

I did pass up the OT's in Rd 3, but I couldn't let Croyle slip and Martin Nance was insane at the end of rd 3.

Curious...what happened to our 6th rounder? Was that from the Hunter pickup? And could you explain our 7th rounders (not the players, but why we have the actual picks themselves)

Good reasoning, though I'm not sure I could avoid going OT in round 1 barring a signing of Hopkins and/or Mike Pearson before the draft.

Thanks Jabba!! But I wasn't competing against the likes of you. The Draft you were commish for last month, was much more competitive. At fast mock, I feel like I'm stealing candy from a baby.

First, I'm not a huge fan of drafting an OT with a top 5 pick (I want more of an Impact player DE QB etc.), so that leaves out D'Brick. At #29, it's really no man's land for an OT, unless Marcus McNeill falls to us, but I have concerns about a cronic back problem with Marcus. I doubt we will draft an OT in Rd 1. Even in Rd 2 drafting O'Callaghan at #35, is a bit of a reach. Top of rd 3 would be a perfect position to get Colledge or maybe Whitworth.

I believe one is from John McGraw but I could be wrong.

I'll admit I made a bad typo before, I meant OT in day 1.
