The percentages shown on TGG multiple choice polls are the percentage of people who voted for a particular selection. I'm not sure how often that is a valid way to calculate the percentage or if it ever is. My initial reaction when viewing the percentages was that they were calculated wrong and there was a bug in the software, as I would have expected it to have been a percentage of the total votes, not total people who voted. My thought is that the multiple choice polls should either calculate using a percentage of votes against total votes or at least give the option of how you want the poll calculated. This is just an idea, so please don't jump on my case for making a suggestion.
