Well I've been calling for his head for about a year now, now bring in Butch Davis and bring back MSU from the depths of crap that JLS buried us in.

Staying in Lousiville sure looks a little better now, huh John L. moving on up to a bigger school isn't always the better career move. I guess you can always be an assistant, or coach Div II.

The Spartans are saying they want to make a big push at Nick Saban who seems to be unhappy in Miami.

I thought Saban hung out in college until the best scenario popped up in the Pros and he thought Miami was it. He is the problem, it's his house he needs to live in it for a while.

Who do you think is the most realistic coaching option for MSU. I don't think there is any chance at you guys getting Davis or Saban.

I think Gene Chizik, the D coordinator of Texas would be a good hire, however it wouldn't surprise me if Saban abandons Miami, he has done it everywhere he has been, as for Davis, if he is interested in coaching next year, Davis as the next coach is as realistic as anybody.

    What about Steve Mariucci?
He seems more suited to the college game than the pro game.

No not only is he a player coach and that is the last thing we needs, but he also isn't interested in coming here, I will add Bo Pelini DC coordinator of LSU as another guy who I'd want to be the next coach
