He watches what he says. You could tell by the way he was talking that Plaxico is not coming back. You could also tell that Mark Sanchez is probably going to be the QB.
O yea I completely forgot about that. That was a bush league move off him. I think his head is a little big from being the man down in alabama. Hopefully they work it out because it seems like he's capable back there.
I don't know why anyone bothers listening to him when he's interviewed. I mean the guy reads from the same script every time.
Can't say I wouldn't be unhappy to have him get "punished"(that little turd). That said, however, unless the Jets sign another Back-up to push Mark in practice, McElrat is going to be the guy.
Mr. T is never going to give you much and every GM lies. He's supposed to lie, it's a prerequisite for the job. I think he's the best GM in the league. I love the philosophy of quality over quantity
because what he said, along with other anonymous sources, plus mangold's injury, exposed what a shitty job tanny did last offseason. look at bart scott's contract, how they had no adequate ol backup at tackle. hunter may be adequate as a backup center or guard, but he was clearly not able to start at rt. the ravens had two ol problems at rt and rg, but ozzie newsome solved both of those during the summer, while tanny sat on his hands.
If you would have said to me a few months ago mr. Ts job would be on the line, I wouldn't have believed you. It seems to me, he's digging his own grave this offseason. He's commenting an awful lot, and he's the reason the team regressed a little. He did sit by and do nothing, he needs to be careful cuz his offseason tour could comeback to bite him in the ass. true dat! another summer like last year, and i wouldn't even want him anywhere near those contracts....
Quality over quantity is all well in good when it comes to known players on your team, but I'm not a big fan of it in terms of draft picks. Quality of draft picks doesn't necessarily correlate to quality of players drafted due to the hit and miss nature of the draft.
I just realized who you are! You were the guy sitting behind me screaming for Kellen Clemens to come in when Chad was playing poorly in 2007. I'm so glad the team made the switch too. Now Kellen is St Louis' new franchise QB. AmIright?
Imo the failure to get OL help after Turner got hurt was inexcusable. But it is hardly the only screw up we have seen from Tanny. The real question is what does Woody think, and I am afraid I have no confidence in Woody in that regard. Woody watched and did nothing while Bradway ran the OL virtually into the ground. When Edwards forced his hand by more or less walking away from the team, Woody didn't even fire Bradway, he just moved him to a different job. Then he brought in The Accountant. Not a football guy, pure and simple. We've gone from Herm to Mangini to Ryan, and the Jets still have Bradway on the payroll, and Tanny is the team's boss. Ugh. It sure ain't pretty.
