Interesting post game shows today when talking about this Jets win over the Chargers. I got the feeling that most of the "experts " drew the conclusion that the Bolts just played a poor game ( they did) and the Jets got lucky (once again) Bullshit......... Yet, I prefer it that way, don't give this team any credit, we always seem to play better that way. Todays game was a huge step in the right direction with the O & the D starting to get on track.. If we see the same type of game in two weeks in Buffalo only an earlier start on O we really may have something here. Mark is a damn good QB if given the time and chance to throw the ball. He still does a few things that need to be corrected, but maybe he has not regressed as badly as I frist feared. Simms seems very impressed with him, and made a ton of excellent comments today, unlike his his asshole partner Jim Boy (Jets hater).... If the Steelers can make a game of it against NE next week and we can improve on todays preformance, it could get very intresting .....and expect the experts to start jumping on the bandwagon again
This is always the way it is. The only way to stop the annoying "it was luck" crap,is to be "lucky " every week and win.
The Jets completely outplayed the Chargers in the second half and outgained them in the first. This should have been a blow out if not for our turnovers. 14 points vs Rivers and 7 not off turnovers is excellent defense.
