Pretty amazing... if you combined the salary of the top 3 players in the league it will total 76 mill, which is more then half the teams in the leagues pay out in total budget. A-Rod gets paid 32 mill and the Pirates entire budget is 33 mill. Great site.
The Pirates and Padres are just as big a problem for disparity as the NYY and BOS are. There needs to be a firm cap and FLOOR.
I love the stats in the past that had a A-Rod calculator, for every at bat he earns this much. I like the detail here though, in 13 hours he will have made the average yearly salary of a police office, and 38 hours for a Doctor. Don't you think the guy/lady responsible for your life should be earning more than a guy who hits balls? lol Doctors should start charging for tickets to watch surgeries and shit.
