Is the NFL full of idiots? They have to know the owners are meeting this week and talking about trouble off the field. You would THINK these guys would stop and say maybe I should behave for awhile. Sheesh!

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. (March 27) -Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall appeared in court Tuesday after being arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and domestic violence.

Douglas County sheriff's department spokeswoman Cocha Heyden said Marshall appeared before a judge and was released on personal recognizance.

Marshall was arrested Monday night in the Denver suburb of Highlands Ranch after a woman told authorities she and Marshall, whom she identified as her boyfriend, had argued earlier in the day, Heyden said.

The woman reported that her boyfriend blocked her taxi with his vehicle as she tried to leave his Highlands Ranch home, Heyden said. The woman had no injuries, Heyden added.

The Denver Broncos had no comment. Marshall's agent, Fletcher Smith, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Bengals' Henry Cited on Traffic Charges
Troubled WR Has Had Previous Run-ins With Law

CINCINNATI (March 27) - Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry , already facing possible NFL punishment for problems with the law, has been cited by Cincinnati police on three traffic charges including driving with a suspended license.

Henry also was ticketed for an alleged improper turn and seat belt violation. His vehicle was impounded after he was stopped March 21, and he paid $100 to retrieve it Monday, court records show. Court action is pending.

Bengals spokesman Jack Brennan released a statement Tuesday from the team that said, "While the incident involved a minor traffic matter, the club is frustrated that the issue arose at all. ... Chris's overall future with our team can be determined only after this and other pending matters are resolved by the NFL."

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said this week that a tougher player conduct policy should be in place before the April 28-29 draft. Henry, suspended for two games by the NFL last season, could face more punishment after settling the last of his earlier four court cases by serving two days in Kenton County (Ky.) jail in January. That was for letting minors drink in a hotel room he had rented.

Henry is among nine Bengals players arrested in less than a year. He had four arrests in 14 months, including marijuana possession, a weapon charge, and a drunken-driving count that resulted in a guilty plea to reckless operation of a vehicle.

I don't know how Pacman can possibly defend his actions. :eek:hmy:

Pacman to Meet With NFL Commissioner
Hearing Reportedly Set for Next Tuesday

PHOENIX (March 27) - Adam "Pacman" Jones will meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on April 3 to discuss the Tennessee Titans cornerback's run-ins with the law.

A person within the league familiar with Jones' situation told The Associated Press on Tuesday that a hearing will occur next Tuesday. That person requested anonymity because the hearing has not been announced.

Goodell is unlikely to make any decision on a suspension or fine at that time, because the commissioner's new, stricter player conduct policy has not been completed.

this is what happens when owners and coaches say "yeah he's got a shitty attitude but that dude sure can run a sub-4.4, 40"

the punishment for off-field incidents should be harsh and pacman's career should be made an example for everyone else and i proimise this problem goes away.

what do u mean get in trouble henry fricken wasnt wearing his seatbelt who cares. happens all the time, yes its stupid but its nothing to go about saying he needs to be punished. Yes he made an illegal turn but its nothing major. only thing is he was on a suspended license but still theres usually just a fine forthat anyway...

I think this whole thing is getting blown out of proportion yes pacman did some stupid shit but some of the things they bring up are retarted. Some of these offenses are just small fines if the press wouldnt put it in the papers then it wouldnt be a big deal. obv the clarett shit and the strip club shit needs to be posted but who cares if henry got a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt
