Infinity Ward always makes the best CoD games in the series. The ones made by Treyarch (Black Ops, World at War) aren't as polished. So, that being said, i'm sure Modern Warfare 3 is going to kick serious ass. Can't wait!
I honestly thought Black Ops was better than Modern Warfare 2. I don't play story so I'm going by the MP. MW2 was just craziness with shotguns, noob tubes, rocket launchers, it just felt real cheap. BO learned from MW2's mistakes. I think the game is pretty level. I like the balance of the perks. I thought it was way better overall. I personally played Black Ops wayyyy more than MW2.
Not 100% here but I thought I remember reading that after MW2 came out the main core of the Infinity Ward team split up and lost some key guys to do their own thing in the gaming industry. Still from the news that is coming out, it is looking like Modern Warfare will be another sick game. I'll definitely pick it up and play multi-player for a few months. I just hate paying for the new maps every few months. I got the first map pack for Black Ops but skipped out on the second one since I didn't play it as much. The maps in Black Ops were horrible in my opinion. There were maybe 2 or 3 decent ones.
Agreed, Infinity Ward CODs are better, just better overall game play. I thought Black Ops capitalized on the obvious mistakes of MW2, which isnt really that brilliant. Gun game was a cool idea, but Modern Warfare 3 is going to be so good

The original CoD with the 3rd party expansion pack was the best in the bunch. I'll still be picking this one up for sure.
Most people haven't played the Original or United Offensive to realize where the series came from, the greatest WW2 FPS ever!
Wow. That trailer was really good. I eventually picked black ops in march I think. Just when I thought I was pretty much done with COD infinity ward comes through.
