I like it a lot. Big fan of Hopkins in the second too. I hope Dion Jordan is even available at #9 anymore. I could certainly see him going to Cleveland at#6. Only thing I'd like to see is a TE added earlier, but I guess all of this team's problems won't be fixed by this draft...
I like most of your picks there... good plan of where to pick up players at which position. Every year I see message boards fall in love with a specific player that people aren't interested in on other boards. Usually, those guys end up not panning out. Just my experience. I'd swap out Renfree for TE Jake Stoneburner of Ohio State... he's a 4.65 40 guy and plays like it. Really reliable TE who can make big plays when the team needs it. 7th round two really good guards OG Lamar Mady or OG Earl Watford could be available. Overall, I like this draft. I am a little concerned, though, that both the guys you have at OLB are a bit light to play 3-4 OLB. I think both those guys would get run over (6'6" 248, 6'2" 244) on the strong side. Either one will have to gain weight even to play on the weak side. I think one of those two guys should be someone a bit more sturdy. If you like Jordan a lot, two later guys that fit the 3-4 OLB well that can be had in the 5th round are Armonty Bryant and Brandon Sharpe. I like these guys a lot. Bryant was at the combine and performed the linebacker positional drills really well. He's 6'4" with almost 36" arms and weighed in at 264 pounds. I think he's a terrific candidate for the strong side OLB. Sharpe I like his tenacity and you can see in that video linked in the profile that he has an ability to drop smoothly into coverage already, so he's less of a projection. He's 6'1", 253 pounds so he's already pretty sturdy.
Though if Mathieus is available at 3rd,I'd take him instead. If Revis stays we're four deep, and if we shed the baggage were three deep, and after Watcing his workout, I think he'd eat Welkers lunch, and give Brady fits. Plus, my preference is to send Revis packing and pay Landry.
would love it if it turned out like this. I think Jordan may be a reach at 9, but if he fell to us I would scoop him up in a heartbeat. you already know I'm a huge fan of Hopkins. Thomas and Gillislee are also great picks. Gilly is perfect for our offense and Thomas would be a good compliment to Landry. Sean Renfree also good choice for a later rounds QB.
I could get behind this draft. Many people think that Jordan will be gone before #9 but if he is there we take him. The rest of draft fills a lot of needs.
It's pretty much over. Dion Jordan unlikely to be on the board when Jets pick. He looked too damn good at the combines  Don't think he goes #2 but I'm pretty confident he's off the board before #9.
