Jets Trade Down Trade There 1st rounder(17) and 3rd Rounder(76) for Lions 1st Rounder (20) 2nd Rounder (33) Lions get sanchez 1 (20) Jarron Gilbert DE San Jose State 2 (33) Kenny Britt WR Rutgers 2 Shonn Greene, RB, Iowa 4 Mark Parson, CB, Ohio 6 Jaime Thomas OG Maryland 7 Graham Gano K/P Florida State
I'm not sure Shonn Greene is a second round talent - he was good back in college, but I don't know how much potential he has a pro tailback. A back like LeSean McCoy would offer this team much more upside... Anyways, if the Jets came out with anything close to this, I would go crazy -- awesome draft.
I think mccoy is like leon and greene is a better compliment to leon speed and power. Mccoy would also be good there but i dont see him falling to 52
Also I belive this year we should use Clemens, Ainge or Ratliff. They should battle it out in the offseason. Then if none of them works out, in next years draft I think there is a good stock of quaterbacks.
McCoy has feature back written all over him. If I'm the Jets, I'm not looking for a compliment, I'm looking for Thomas Jones successor. You can find a power back/short yardage in just about any round - I actually like Andre Brown out of NC State more than Shonn Greene. Both should be available after the second round. Remember, Washington isn't locked up long-term either.
Actually, I'm not the biggest Kenny Britt or Shonn Greene fans. I'd prefer someone like Brian Robiskie and Andre Brown/James Davis. But, if this was our draft turned out this way, I wouldn't be upset..
Detroit wouldn't do that trade. Maybe they do 17 and 52 for 20 and 33, but I really doubt that. Othewise, I'd be thrilled with the picks. I would like to get a QB, but Gilbert, Britt, and Greene would be amazing.
If they knew we were going to draft sanchez I think they would. Because with there first pick they get an OL or Curry. Then I think the bucs will take freeman. And they like sanchez. Also I think Kenny Britt is much better than robiskie
