1) Justin Blalock- Great Guard who can start right away 2a) LaMarr Woodley- OLB in a year or 2 2b) Doug Free- Takes over for Clament in a year or 2 3) Ben Patrick- good over all tight end can split time with Baker and eventually take over *if he is gone at this point we take- Matt Spaeth- a 6'7 TE will help in the end zone if nothing else 5) David Ball- with J MAc hopefully leaving we need someone to take the 3rd/4th reciver spot, he is a small school prospect with great hands and a ton of balls to go over the middle and he's a hard worked 6) Jesse Allen- hard worker 250 lbs FB he'll open some huge holes plus look at NE they never use their full back
After going with 2 first round offensive lineman last year and another in this draft, we can't go for another in Round 2... Maybe on Day 2, but after we get Blalock, that should be it. But the Blalock pick is good. LaMarr Woodley is also a solid pick, but I would be a little annoyed with ANOTHER offensive lineman. Ben Patrick won't be around in the 3rd round when we pick and possibly before our second rounder. I like David Ball especially with those stats. I don't know much about Jesse Allen, but we just signed Darian Barnes and they also like Stacy Tutt. Plus James Hodgins could come back. No CB??
I did a similar mock on another board 1) Justin Blalock 2a) LaMarr Woodley 2b) Ikaika Alama-Francis 3) Fred Bennett
