Eh, got bored, so I made a mock draft. I still think Woodley is a 1st rounder despite almost every other mock out there haha. Rd 1: LaMarr Woodley, OLB, Michigan Rd 2a: Josh Beekman, OG, Boston College Rd 2b: Josh Wilson, CB, Maryland Rd 3: Chansi Stuckey, WR, Clemson Rd 5: Marvin White, S, TCU (sorry had to steal this pick, that's how much I liked it haha) Rd 6: Chase Johnson, OT, Wyoming
We just signed Bowens...it doesn't mean we won't draft a OLB like Lamar Woodley, but I doubt we go OLB #1. I am pretty sure the Jets are looking OL, CB or TE in the first.
No way does Woodley go that high, nor would we use that pick to draft him, nor would we use that pick on an OLB....its reserved for, like Penny said^, an OL (Blalock), TE(Olsen), or a CB (Revis)
I could conceivably see Woodley going to the Jets at #25. He grades out well in the triangle test (something the Jets put a lot of stock in).
Im not sure if they will draft him or many other LB's after signing all of these guys for the front seven this offseason.
it might just be wishful thinking i guess, i really like woodley and think he's gonna be a great player...i dont want us to miss out on him b/c we have a bunch of LBs on the roster already
After signing Bowens, OLB will wait until at least round 3 IMO.... Other than that, it's pretty good.
