Trade 1: Denver Broncos trades 12th overall pick, 4th and 5th round draft picks for New York Jets 6th overall pick and Drob and a conditonal 6th or 7th rounder in 2009...
Denver drafts Ryan Clady, OT, Boise State

Trade 2: The New York Jets trade fourth and sixth round picks to Carolina Panthers for there 2008 third round pick

    2008 NFL Draft:

1st Round-Devin Thomas, WR, Michigan state
-He is that big burner reciever the new york jets and he has the most upside of all the recievers in this draft.

    2nd Round
    -Curtis Lofton, ILB, Oaklahoma
-imagine having two david harris's in the middle...that is lethal:up:

    3rd Round-Dre Moore, DE, Maryland
-A Boom or Bust type pick which lands him into the third round...he will dominate for our dline for years too come...

    *cough cough* if hes there

    4th Round(a)-Tyvon Branch, CB, Uconn
-this guy has the potential to be a great #2 Cb and be great back up

    4th Round(B)-Josh Barrett, S, Arizona State
-sleeper saftey that has potential to be a star....funny kerry rhodes was a steal in the fourth also

    5th Round-Durant Brooks, P, Georgia Tech
-ben grahams days are numbered so why not draft the best punter in the draft

    7th Round
    -Ryan Torain, RB, Arizona State
-a little competition never hurt anyone

wow, worst trade I have ever seen. The trade is so bad it is not even worth commenting on the fact that Denver most likely wont have to trade up for Clady.

Question 1 who would take Clady before Denvers original pick?
Question 2 Do you really think Barrett is going to last till the mid 4th?

Why would you give up D-Rob & a 6th or 7th, plus move DOWN 6 spots in the first, and only get a 4th and a 5th back? It would have to be at least a 2nd going for the Jets for them to even consider that.

That's the second worst. There was a worse one earlier in another thread where we were basically giving Robertson and our #6 for Denver's #12.

The insanity will stop soon with these threads. They will have to as the draft is only 2 weeks away.

I don't understand this trade at all. Clady should be there at 12.

Dre will probably not be there in the 3rd.
Tyvon Branch will probably not be there for our 4th.
Josh Barrett will probably not be there for our 4th.

that was the worst feed i ever got...you cant even just say something besides wow that was a shitty trade...well denver is gonna trade for drob on draft day most likely...would you be happy if it was for the 12th pick, 2nd round and 5th?

The second most ridiculous part of this thread is trade #2. Why on earth would Carolina give up their 3rd for that 4th and 6th? Do they want to screw themselves just like we did in trade #1?

Here is the point system. Now you can re-think it.

Hate it, I would be might disappointed passing on McFadden. Extremely unlikely that the best player in the draft makes it to 9.

we need another #1 corner, not a guy who has "great backup potential"!

In the 4th round, #1 corners are harder to come by. They can certainly emerge, but it's more of a crapshoot.

This mock is just useless because that trade can't and won't happen.

I don't like this trade at all. A 4th and 5th + the 12th isn't enough to get D-Rob and our 6th. Maybe a trade-down involving Robertson, but that trade just isn't good.

I don't think a 6th round pick could move us up that far...

I'd be happy with Devin Thomas at #12 and Lofton in the 2nd.

I think Dre Moore's 40-time puts him in the early 2nd.

Barrett and Branch will probably be gone by the 4th also. Both have raised their draft stocks this offseason...

I would lose my shit if this draft happened. Thank God you are not our GM. Somebody throw that Billy Madison quote at this guy. "May God have mercy on your soul," and whatnot.
