Just curious if anybody has ever gotten this? I'm strongly debating (so I can watch a mediocre Mets team) but I'm curious if it's worth it. Can I get both broadcasts? If I'm watching the Twins vs Royals can I watch both the KC and the Minny feed or am I stuck with one? I know there is some type of blackout with YES so if I was inclined to watch the Dark Side would I be blacked out from doing so being I don't live in NY? How bad are the blackouts on the weekends? I know Fox has comepletely killed Saturday afternoon baseball but am I really going to miss that many games on a day when I really feel like watching the most? It's 200 bucks so I really need to be able to convince the wife it's worthwhile.
Got it on Directv last year. Awesome. Sucks on comcast, don't even show it in HD and cut off the post game shows....
You get all the games that are not in your local market, I don't know if you are in a local market though in Vegas so you should be fine w/ all the games. If you are buying it for Met game sit's probably not worth it but as a baseball fan it is worth it.
Believe it or not my local market is San Diego (who I do not get because Direct TV doesn't carry their station) A's, Giants, Dodgers, Dbacks and Angels. Occasionally I get Rockies and Mariners games but not all the time for some reason. I wanna be able to watch Yankee games... yes I hate them but I usually have a bunch of them on my fantasy team because they are always productive. I hate John Sterling so I'd much prefer to watch it on TV.
Last year I bought MLB.tv's game package, which was 99 bucks, IIRC. Watched all the games (besides Yanks and Mets) online. I was very satisfied with it.
