i bought guitar hero 3 today, and played it for about 9 hours straight...stopping for dinner and a piece of a 3-3 game. the next thing i knew chad was on the bench and kellen was in there....WTF???? anyone want to fill me in on what went so badly that they pulled penny? i know they stopped using TJ again.....the CS needs to chack its head to see if they are now looking towards the draft or not....because you dont give up whats working for no reason....especially when the other things that we were doing wasnt working.
No offense at all except for Thomas Jones through the first 56:22 of play. It finally seeped into Mangini's head that he was going to have a press conference at the end to discuss what went on and he put Clemens in for the last 3:38. Clemens moved the ball a bit on his first drive and then threw an INT to the deep right sideline to end it. Got the ball back with a minute to go and eventually threw a hail mary INT in the endzone after moving the Jets a bit beforehand. Mangini just looks like an imposter at this point. It's like he's holed up somewhere and his skinnier brother is standing on the sidelines holding down the job for him, er sort of...
Nothing really happened, then Revis and Elam were unable to break up an under-thrown pass to Lee Evans, who wrestled it away from them as they took eachother out of the play, and Evans ran into the end zone. Then finally Eric put Kellen in, and he threw a pick, then we got the ball back again and tried some hail marys and Kellen threw another pick. Chad did nothing, more short stuff and no shots deep, the run game was promising early but all our drives stalled. We also fumbled a couple times when we were in Buffalo territory, and every time we passed the pocket collapsed pretty quick.
reguardless of those 2 picks, kellen came into the game cold. hopefully after he has a full week of first team reps we will be doin things next sunday! i dont understand how jones isnt being fed the ball on every other play at the very least. its almost like mangini is giving chad enough rope to hang himself....and after today hes been hung....hopfully. i look at last year like a fluke season. the year before we had SO many injuries that the team was horrid. and this season is what it is because our QB cant take the offense to the next level, and our defense cant do much of anything right. brad smith makes great plays on ST to prove to me over and over that hes one of the best gunners in the NFL and should earn some recognition as such. ill DL the game and watch it tomorrow. i just couldnt yank myself away from guitar hero 3.....sad, i know.
Why the f*ck Mangini did not put Clemens in at the half I have no clue. Seriously, what kind of moron leaves a QB who has been beaten like a drum for the last month or so in the game when he has produced the grand total of 3 points against a terrible defense in a half of play? I watch the Jets to see them win, not to see a stubborn, inexperienced head coach who can't even install his pet defense keep running a clearly cooked QB out on the field to seal the deal with another loss. 1-7. That's officially the Jets worst start since 1996 and Mangini has earned that distinction.
