    He is a smurf receiver who had over 800 yards receiving two years ago. Thomas is the guy who caught a Hail Mary to beat Houston in 2010.

    The other Mike Thomas in league history ran for over 1100 yards with the Redskins in 1976.

    Shorts was a 4th round pick just like Thomas. I fail to see why it should be looked at as a major knock on Thomas that Shorts took his job.

    Because Shorts isn't very good. Who cares where they were picked? Mike Thomas was once looked at as an up and coming WR in this league. Now he can't be a #1 for Jacksonville
