After the Robby Anderson incident earlier this offseason, the last thing the New York Jets needed was another member of the organization in trouble with the authorities. But it came as a surprise to everyone when early this morning general manager Mike Maccagnan was caught getting out of One Jets Drive as fast as he could. When questioned of his motives, an agitated Maccagnan responded "Come on, you'd definitely do the same thing if you were me." Understanding exactly what he was talking about, the authorities let him off with a warning on the condition that next time he'd take head coach Todd Bowles with him. Spoiler Happy April Fools!
Come on, @HomeoftheJets! It's an April Fools Joke. You can make up anything to get a laugh. And this is the route you take? There isn't even a joke there. If you are going to do one, go all in! Wait, maybe the joke is that you barely tried to make a joke?
