What are the chances we draft Mike Johnson in the 2nd round? If the Jets are serious about getting rid of Faneca, we're going to need a decent Plug n' Play offensive guard.

I'd rather take a guy like Matt Tennant or John Jerry.

Mike Johnson is going to be solid. He anchored the O-Line of the National Champs, which was a good solid running team, pro offense, no gimmicky bullshit. Plus he was coached by Nick Saban.

I don't know much about Matt Tennant, but John Jerry is a fat underachieving lazyass.

Nick Saban is the head coach at Alabama, but he was very little involvement with the offensive line.

I think Mike Johnson will be a good player in this league, but to me, Tennant and Jerry fit into what we're doing. Tennant is a lot like Faneca and Jerry can play guard or tackle.

That last edit doesn't make much sense to me: Jerry's had weight issues, but he's still a great athlete for a guy his size and he's one of the better run blockers in this draft.

I like Johnson and have been bringing his name up for a while now. He is a third rounder at best and I'd go after him in round 4.
