Coming off a win 41-17 against a good Penn State team I'd say it shouldn't be too hard for ND to take Michigan. But these two teams are rivals who play every year and Michigan has been looking good thus far. But just like PS they haven't played a really good team. I think anyway. ND will win the game. #2 baby! New stars are forming. Guys like Chinedum Ndukwe and John Carlson. Good stuff. Hey MSUJet85. Who do you want to see lose this game?
Haha, only game this year I will root for Notre Dame, I hate Notre Dame but I wish for a meteor to strike the Big House, and plus when we play you I look forward to get ranked as high as possible as a reward for beating the "#2" team in the country
This is about the only time you'll ever seeme rootfor Michigan. The battle of my 2 most hated teams...for this week and this week only...GO BLUE!
Notre Dame has a really good shot at running the table going into the USC game on the last day of their season. The biggest test following Michigan (minus USC) is going to be UCLA. I'm a big ND fan and its great to hear how many people there are that want to see them fail. F the haters, mighty Penn State went down without a fight. Notre Dame is the real deal like them or not. Brady hasn't been what everyone expected including myself, but I did call that the defense was very overlooked and that they'd be the real story this year for the Irish.
Beers, beers for old Notre Dame Bring on the cocktails, we want champagne Send the freshmen out for gin, Don't let a sober sophomore in. We never stagger, we never fall, We sober up on grain alcohol, All the loyal faculty lie drunk on the bar room floor!
The Notre Dame defense will have their hands full with the Trio: Henne, Hart, and Breaston. Although, Notre Dames offense outmatches Michigans defense and Notre Dame is playing at home and not at Michigan. I would unfortunately have to say Notre Dame wins this easy but i'll be rooting for Michigan.
Now for a cheer they are here, triumphant! Here they come with banners flying, In stalwart step they're nighing, With shouts of vict'ry crying, We hurrah, hurrah, we greet you now, Hail! Far we their praises sing For the glory and fame they've bro't us Loud let the bells them ring For here they come with banners flying Far we their praises tell For the glory and fame they've bro't us Loud let the bells them ring For here they come with banners flying Here they come, Hurrah! Hail! to the victors valiant Hail! to the conqu'ring heroes Hail! Hail! to Michigan the leaders and best Hail! to the victors valiant Hail! to the conqu'ring heroes Hail! Hail! to Michigan, the champions of the West! We cheer them again We cheer and cheer again For Michigan, we cheer for Michigan We cheer with might and main We cheer, cheer, cheer With might and main we cheer! Hail! to the victors valiant Hail! to the conqu'ring heroes Hail! Hail! to Michigan, the champions of the West!
I picked the Irish last week to explode against Penn State after the way they played week one, and was exactly right mind you, but this week I'm getting a different vibe. I think the Michigan team is fairly underrated, and will go into this game with a chip on their shoulder, especially after losing that close game last year at the Big House. Notre Dame's Defense was very, very impressive last week against Penn State, but the Lions team was so inexperienced they let a myriad of chances get away, not to mention they just flat out didn't play well. Not only do I think that Mike Hart will have one of his best days this week, I feel that Henne will be able to exploit the holes in the secondary like Morelli so obvously couldn't. The real key will be how the Michigan defense can keep the Irish at bay, they'll probably be helped a great deal if Mike Hart and Kevin Grady can control the TOP for UM. I think Michigan steals this one, 24-14.
Even if Henne and the big receivers for Mich have a big game, not only can Quinn and his own big outs have just as big of games, if not bigger but ND's defense is better overall. ND is more than capable of going blow for blow with a high powering offensive team.
agreed. Hart, Henne, and Breaston are all going to have to have highlight weeks to come away with this one I think. Only way I see that happening also, is if Quinn has 2 INT's and a fumble from Walker or a WR. Michigan wont get embarassed like Penn did but I say ND takes this.
Irish by 10+. This is Michigan's first decent game in a while and they won't be ready to take on the Irish like Penn St did last week.
