It was weird seeing a #23 on the Jets some some breakaway speed (on the 25+ yard wildcat play) and some catching ability.

    Refreshing sight!

I really like our 3 headed "monster" if they can stay healthy. They all provide different elements and Marty seems to use the correctly.

I would have loved to see a screen pass or two to Goodson.

Well, I guess I can't ride the Powell train any longer on FFB.

Goodson looked like he will be a difference maker for this team. Glad he's here now.

Goodson clearly has the big play ability. Powell is the regular back but we have 3 RB's man. Nice

It's Powell's backfield. I'm glad he's getting some support now. Goodson has a long way to go and a lot to prove to this organization.

I think he's got good potential. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do once he gets back in football shape

Best part is he is probably still shaking a bit of the rust off. Obviously he's been practicing but that's a poor substitute for actual game action. I still think it's Powell's backfield with Goodson maybe more of a third down back and Ivory as a change of pace guy until he can prove he is able to do more.

I think Ivory has the potential to be the best of the bunch, he just needs to stay healthy. But if he can't go a 1-2 of Powell and Goodson doesn't look as bad on tape as it did on paper heading into the season.

Sorry for the double post but did he get injured last night? I wasn't really paying attention to his snap count or anything but I read somewhere that he was "nowhere to be seen" after the first quarter. I'm pretty sure he got some snaps later in the game, he may not have had carries but we had a few two and three back sets and I'm pretty sure he was involved in those.

Just wanted to know if anyone else can confirm that he played later in the game as well or heard about any injury.

    3 rushes for 31 yds
    1 catch for 9 yds

I would have been surprised if he'd had more carries. Remember how much football he's missed.

i feel like this is going to be what it is from goodson, after all he only ran the ball 35 times last year so he may not be a guy who takes it 10 or 15 times a game. but if he can do what he did last night, other than what looked like a bad pattern on a dump off pass that went over his head, he will be a huge help.

No. He was coming off an aggravated hamstring injury in practice.

Plus he needs some time to learn the playbook I'm sure. His snaps were limited because of his hammy
