Miami made unsuccessful attempts (at least for now) to sign David Garrard and Jake Delhomme this week, with Chad Henne ailing. Still lookin'

Indy might let you have Kerry Collins if you ask nicely?

What does "unsuccessful attempts" mean? Did Garrard and Delhomme turn Miami down or something?

Sounds like it. If you're being turned down by Jake Delhomme, you know you're in trouble.

I'd like them to get a mediocre QB to win them a couple of games though, Miami with Luck would be a pain.

Dolphins are continuing pursuit of veteran QBs and are expected to double back to Garrard/Delhomme today. Perhaps they make a breakthrough

It would be awesome if they signed Favre.

This sounds like a Dolphins media plug.

I doubt they want to save this season with Garrard or Delhomme.

Owner would be wise to just sit back and watch the team fail and get lucky in the Luck sweepstakes.

    Colts, Vikings, Dolphins.

One of these teams looks like Luck will be coming

Damnitt. Delhomme will put them right in the suck for Luck sweepstakes.

I liked Jake when he was a Panther, but his career was done three years ago.

Does Luck have to declare for the draft this year, or can he do another year in college?

Is Matt Moore not living up to expectations?

(almost managed to type that with a straight face.)

Apparently they refused to guarantee any money in their offers to Garrard and Dellholme
No QB is going to play week to week for that team, Garrard at least will get offers this offseason, no reason to risk injury for a bad team unless you have some financial assurance.

They've both also made quite a bit of money in their careers so they can pick and their next job

Hasn't Miami been looking for a QB since Marino retired? Long before they took Pennington off the scrap heap.

He can stay for one more year of eligibility. Although I can't imagine why he would, there would be two Christmases in 2012 if the Dolphins blew the season and Andrew Luck stayed in school.
