What do you think the chances are of miami being a primetime game? (8:15 that is) I ask this question because I have season tickets and something came up, and if that games not primetime I may not be able to make it, which would kill me, its been plaguing my mind. Also, it looks pretty possible right now. The only other game I can see contending with that week is Dallas Philly, but im not so sure that game will have the same prominence as jets dolphins. Any thoughts?
Ah, its football! Besides that could only work to our advantage (at least I would think, im hesitant to say so after the jets played like a bunch of twats against denver the other week because of a little rain)
the Eagles VS Cowboys game will be a week 17 playoff game most likely so they would go with that game over the Jets Vs Mia for sure if thats the case.
jets/fins primetime the way things are going, we will lose the next 2 games, so the significance of the game would be gone. The Jets have to seriously get their SH$T together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont they have a deadline to flex upcoming games? They have to notify the NFL like 12 days before hand??
flex schedule right now, the NFL has to give 12 days notice to flex a game, up until week 17 (the Jet/Miami) date, which requires only 6 days notice. They just made the Giants/Carolina game Dec 21 the 815 PM today!!!!! There currently is no 815 PM game scheduled on Dec 28. I am not sure if they would make one or not that week, as it would be a disadvantage to any playoff team that has to play Wilcard Weekend, Jan 3 and 4th!!!
jets/fins primetime the late season games usually list a time, but are TBA, To be announced. For example, both the Dolphins at Jets and Giants at Vikings are listed as 1 PM, but the never go against each other on TV, so one of them will probably be changed to 4pm, unless they should leave one game at 1 PM, and make the other one 815 PM. Not sure what they will do, but the NFL can wait until Monday, DEC 22 to decide.
I would actually love the primetime atmosphere. I'm going anyway but if the division comes down to this game theres no way its not flexed. too much drama with pennington possibly biting us in the ass, and favre possibly leading the jets to a division title something this organization never sees. But fuck who am i kidding the way this team is playing the only reason they'll even go 8-8 is because they won 8 games already
