Yes to the MS Avatar and Yes to the firing!!!!!, even though it was not his fault Beltran can't hit a curveball, and Glavine imploded in one of the most important starts of his career.

Shit, I'd rather have Omar Minaya than JP Ricciardi.

I would, have rather had him reassigned. He has done a pretty good job rebuilding the farm. he is a scout, not a GM.

Our farm system has shit depth.

The only contribution to the farm system Minaya would make would be the latino international amateur signings, all talented yet risky prospects who may or may not make an impact at the mlb level, 5 years from now.

signing type a free agents didn't help us much either as we were out of a 1st rd pick for a few years, and the fact that the fucking Coupons don't go overslot in the draft didn't help us as we tried to stock our system with premium talent.

    fuck minaya, fuck the wilpons.

I'm curious to see how the Mets will manage to find someone who is actually worse than Minaya. That's not going to be easy, but I trust the Wilpons to find a way.

hahaha...if the Mets hire Ricciardi....I would expect to see Frank Thomas and BJ Ryan signed by the Mets before the end of the week.

I remember when Ricciardi got fired and I read about the Mets desire to hire him in some role. I almost lost it.

Krivsky would be decent, his record is not spectacular, but he made some shrewd moves. Ricco would be the next Duquette, a Wilpon yes man that signifies no change in organizational strategy and no lesson learned.

About fucking time. And this is coming from a Yankee fan.

But now where do the Mets go? Krivsky is an extremely underwhelming retread. The only way I think Krivsky can be sold to the fanbase is if Wally is part of the package as a manager. I mean for fuck's sake Mets fan's you do realize that the way the Wilpon's do business might mean you're looking at a Ricco-Bob Melvin super yes-man tandem right?

Finally!!! Hopefully the new GM will get rid of Perez and Castillo, and trade Beltran for whatever he's worth anymore.

i want Bobby V and a very good pitching coach
    dave duncan
    leo mazzone
    orel hershiser

and how about a real hitting coach too.
wally backman needs to be a 1st base coach and learn from bobby how to manage.

That's a very reasonable plan, although you've left out the GM. Coaching/managing is great, but it still comes down to having the players.
