I thought fielding his position was suppose to be a weakness of Alvarez? Doesn't look like it. He's been awesome behind the plate.

 

Scherzer pitched good but now gotta wait and see if something is the matter.

Are we gonna end up seeing him or they are gonna hold him for trade bait? I don’t think we keep all these youngster. They are gonna end up trading someone for pitching.

Who said the stats call for demotion?
They have two veteran catchers who they value and intend to play. The priority is to play Alvarez to help him get better defensively.

Better defensively? What is he talking about? He’s been absolutely fine behind the plate.

 

Death, taxes, and vogelbach in the lineup? Not giving Vientos any continuity. Alvarez with the Homerun!

 

What was the point of bringing up Vientos? I don’t know what Vientos is but I know I’m not gonna find out with the sporadic way he’s been using him. Why is Alvarez batting 9th?

Half of Daniel Vogelbach's strikeouts -- 15 of 30 -- have been looking. Only two players have struck out at least 20x with the majority being backwards Ks: David Hensley and Jesse Winker.

Buck loves the portly fellow. Meanwhile, Vientos is getting splinters in his ass.

 

I seriously don’t get this. I wanted Buck here but I’m honestly over him. Really haven’t been liking what he’s doing with this team. I don’t know how much is him or the front office/analytics but thumbs down!
