0-333 over the past 25 years when trailing by 6+

 

I was watching the Rangers game and didn't give it much thought after we were down big early.

 

No game last night and doubt we play tonight. What a shitty weekend for weather

 

Scherzer doesn't look too great for his second start in a row.

 

Keith showing his rustiness in commentating - he congratulates Nimmo on his "good read" on the ball off the bat when there are two outs (so there's no read to make at all), and is wrong anyway, in that Nimmo actually hesitated on the ball, which was bad baserunning. He also didn't mention that Lindor was also guilty of bad baserunning, in that he thought it was out and didn't run hard out of the box (something Gary did pick up on).

Mets cut it to 3-2.

 

Terrible baserunning decision gets Nido thrown out at third with none out in a 2-1 game.

I think having the 2 days in between his starts messed him up; Scherzer is very particular about when and how he pitches.

 

Diaz finishes off the come from behind 4-2 win.

 

Wonder if Megill is going to get out of the first inning ...

 

Pathetic night for Megill finally over - 9 of 13 batters faced reach base, and 8 score (so far).

 

It would be nice to get some offensive production from our catchers.

I'm trying really hard to stay positive about Lindor. 341 million for this guy.

 

The dead ball is killing him. He's a flyball hitter and the ball isn't traveling far.

 

Nice, another series win and we have Seattle coming into town tomorrow.

 

It's very strange that they would have precisely a 2-1 record in all of these three-game series.
