It makes me sad there wasn't a thread already. We just won the first game of the series. Santana was good, the offense did enough, and Parnell (outstanding so far) and Rodriguez closed the door. Ramon Martinez had 2 errors though, making it 4 on his very short season so far. He needs to go. Right now.

Was at the game. Very good win. Glad the AA guys at the bottom of the order hit a little. Lots of mets fans there. Anybody who bitches about sight lines at citi should be forced to watch a game from the back rows of Fenway. Absolult terriable. Lost every ball that went into the corner by the monster and I was just behind home plate shaded a little towards 1b. Not to mention I couldent see the scoreboard at all. At least at citi they have the tvs everywhere in the stands. In my citi seats in 311 I lose a little of the scoreboard but I can see flyballs through their apex and can see replays on the tvs.
I figured that me making a thread would curse us (so far 1-5) But my main idea is that Ramon Martinez should be cut now! Brings no defense, no offense, nothing. it would be the equivalent of sending one of us out there for the same effect. If he is in the lineup tomorrow someone from management needs to be fired.
Dear god, Dennis Eckersley cannot control himself. First he says "shit" out of the blue for no apparent reason after Youk gets hit. . Then only a few innings later he says "masturbate" when trying to say Masterson. At least he's not boring.
