Huge series here. If we take 2 out of 3 that would be great.

If Kendrick and Moyer keep pitching like shit, I think the Mets can easily take those two games. The 5/1 game (on my birthday no less) worries the shit out of me.

Pelfrey is due for a run against him (24 consecutive inning w/o a run against, the streak has to end sometime) and Halladay got hammered in his last outing, which means he will probably be lightsout tomorrow.

They can certainly hit the shit out of Kendrick... the game tomorrow worries me because Pelfrey is due for a bad game and Halladay seems to have the ability to turn it on and dominate. I'd love it of we won 2-1 tomorrow. Mike did however get an extra day of rest so he should be sharp.

Sunday night as well, time for Johan to step up and let the Phils know we are in it this year.

Ball 3 to Utley was fucking horse shit, it was on the edge of the plate, and clearly in the strikezone, and the ump gave it to Utley.

    Bay doubles to RF.

    Davis Grounds out.

Francouer pulls one to LF, Hammered that one.

That was another very low pitch to Francouer.

    3-0 Mets, Top 2nd. 1 out.

Pretty much as well-played a game as you're gonna see from our guys. Still don't understand how this can be happening.

Pretty remarkable. At this point, I guess we should just enjoy the ride and see what happens.

This is getting pretty exciting. I must admit that I have no faith that they can keep up this kind of play throughout the year but I honestly didn't think we would get any kind of excitement from this team this year. I'm just going to enjoy the ride as long as it lasts, there is no worse time of year for sports than dead of summer with a horrible baseball team.
