After getting shitfucked by 4 scrubs, i bet we win 2 of out 3 here.

then get swept by texas or something.

    go mets.

church dl, casanova back down while alou and marlon have been activated.

somehow, aberham nunez is still here.

somehow, valentin, aguilia, pacussi are not.

i guess they don't want to IBB anyone in the first inning, but you're going to pitch to alou there with schneider on deck? really?

For anybody in the Ocean-Monmouth-Middlesex County area-

I have two tickets for the Rangers-Mets game on Saturday. We are going by cruise (SeaStreak). Boat ride and ticket costs $50. The boat departs from the Atlantic Highlands at 4:30 on Saturday.

It was to be a party of 5 (well, still will be; the heck if I have to eat 2 tickets), but my pussy-whipped friend can't go anywhere without his girlfriend and my cousin's friend went apeshit at work and beat up somebody because he wasn't on his meds. Both those nuts are out.

If interested, send me a PM.

Nice to see old Tom Terrific there, but he needs to read those boxscores more carefully. Maine a 14 pitch per inning guy? I don't think so. There's a reason he's made it into the 7th only twice in 13 starts, Tom.

And now Beltran the idiot slides into first base and should have been out.

    this team is hopeless

maine was lousy, threw way too many pitches etc and left after 5. then for some reason willie brought vargas in for 1 inning and he gave up 2 runs to tie the game

and like any mets game where they hit the starter hard their bats went to sleep as soon as he was removed from the game

Yet another backbreaking HR, and on an 0-2 pitch. I hate this team.

Angel Pagan - as Gary notes, that's a name we haven't heard in a while.

What a shock - bunting in front of the 8th place hitter hitting .200 and a pinch hitter doesn't work. Who could have predicted that? More managing lunacy.

With Webb pitching tomorrow a 6-game losing streak looks pretty likely at this point.
