I always wonder why the opening has Wright, Reyes and Manuel. Every time I see it, it kills the excitment I have for the game.

Well, it's obvious that Pelfrey isn't an ace any more, but is he even a major league pitcher?

I love Barajas swinging at an absolutely horrible pitch at 3-2 with 2 guys on down 6 runs when Thole is rotting away on the bench. Professor Manuel now has him pitch hitting down 6 after having a .571 hitter (albeit a pitcher) bunt a guy over down by the same deficit. This guy proves himself to absolute fucking numbskull on a daily basis.
Thole should be in the minors or starting. He's too young not to be playing every day.

 

and yet there isn't even the threat of him being out of a job any time soon.

 

Un-fucking-believable. I'm sure dweedledum and dweedledee will say something along the lines of, "who thought we'd be six games over .500 at the end of July." We were 11 games over .500 a month ago. Manuel's coaching pretty much costs us a win a week, it is a joke.

 

Now that the collapse is upon us, are they really going to hire Bob Melvin as the next manager?
