Tone's mouth has split the locker room. Even if what he said is true, he should have kept it in house.

Funny how the O-line guys didn't destroy Holmes in the press after his awful drop against the fins last year in the endzone cost us a W. They didn't call Cimini and Fatty. They thought of the team first.

Now Cimini and all the haters are feasting on this bullshit which never should have been made public. Shut your mouth and catch the ball, Tone.

All receivers need to learn how to not drop easy balls

Especially those who feel it's necessary to call out their teammates in the press after a losing streak.

tone needs to never drop a ball, but he needs more opportunities. throwing the ball 22-25times..(whatever) against the pats? not a good chance for holmes.

im more pissed off at plaxico for dropping 2-3 balls.

sad thing is the jets offense was a joke sunday, and we could of won that fucking game.

Jets offense would have had a chance to come back if the defense could have gotten them the ball. It was a team loss.

Just give him more chances to catch the ball and he'll shut the fuck up and be happy

Just win and he'll be happy.

    Holmes is the ultimate competitor.

I'm expecting a big game from Holmes (assuming Sanchez has enough time to get him the ball).

defense also had to deal with about 7-8 3 and outs.

True but that doesn't mean they are supposed to be bad. When the game was on the line they blew any shot we had by getting run all over but that started early in the 2nd half.

Well don't you think fatigue factors in? Anyone who's blaming the D for our failings over the offense is clearly mistakened.

we had pouha and devito in on half of that last drive by the pats. our d was gased.

but yes i agree overall. they are to blame for not stopping pats. yeah they were tired as hell, but you need a stop there.

I don't agree with the first part. I think if the Jets spank the Phins on Monday and Keller and Greene have great games statistically, while he gets only a few targets, he'll still be unhappy. Maybe not in the press, because of what has happened recently, but I'm sure he's not gonna be all giddy behind the scenes.

I can't help but be reminded of the AFCCG when the score is 24-3 in the 3rd and he's busy doing his first down nonsense. That never screamed "team" to me.

    Really?

    Revis is the ultimate competitor.

Holmes plays and practices hard when he feels like it. If he was the ultimate competitor, the Steelers wouldn't have given him up for zilch.

LT celebrated a first down in the 45-3 game last year, that doesn't mean that hes not a team guy.

What I would find funny would be if Holmes and Moore were fucking with everyone. For some reason I feel like Holmes would not be that stupid to blatantly call out part of his team in the media. That is just not something that is done.

*I have no proof of this and I am probably completely off base.*

Our D was gassed as soon as the second half started? They were running all over us then too.

    uh....

holmes being traded away had nothing to do with his on the field play or work ethic.

it was the suspension and image of the team after big bens rapery. they couldn't really get rid of ben so they got rid of him
