Definitely not a good draft for us, but Kiper is never that accurate at projecting our picks.

actually don't mind Aaron Ross, or Shaw of penn State...

but our second round is just dreadful! two bad picks that we don't need

I wouldnt hate that draft, but I wouldn't love it either. I think Kiper doesn't do a great job of placing picks properly and a guy on his level as an insider really should start making his drafts and account for trades when he does so.

I don't think we take Ross of Houston. Blalock won't slip that far into round 2. Everyone else has him going in round 1. Trent Edwards and Drew Stanton need to be swapped. Edwards is the unproven, injury-prone qb and Stanton looks like he can be an nfl-ready qb. Alama-Francis seems to be a better fit for us to take with our 2b pick and we go for Marshal Yonda with 2a or Beekman with 2a. I like the idea of bringing in Shaw if he's available.

For the most part I think Kiper over-values his picks and drafts them higher because of need and hype. I don't put too much stock in this draft. He doesn't even have the Giants addressing WR in the first four rounds... this is a crock.
