He came out with a full mock draft. These are his Jet players.

Round 1- Jared Odrick, DT, Penn State
Odrick would immediately upgrade an aging defensive front and has the potential to become a solid 5-technique starter for years to come.

(Thomas was on board til 24, Kindle 26, Wilson 27)

Round 2- Dexter McCluster RB Ole Miss

Round 4- Hall Davis DE La.-Lafayette

Round 6- Terrell Skinner S Maryland

Round 7- Joe Hawly OG UNLV

I would be furious if this was our draft. Looking at this mock there were soooo many players that fell (Burnett went round 4, Jason Fox round 5) that we would pounce all over if they were still around 20-30 picks before they were taken. Fuck Mcshay. Wat's my fellow TGGer's thoughts?

Todd McShay absolutely hates Morgan Burnett for some reason.

Some Cowboys' beat writer selected Morgan Burnett with the 27th overall pick on today's live NFL Mock and McShay bashed the pick every time he was on camera.

Rounds four through six are pretty terrible. I wouldn't be upset with McCluster, because I think he's going to be a dangerous and valuable role player in this league. All of the other picks are questionable though.

It would be between Thomas and Wilson honestly. I would think Thomas would be higher on our draft board but Wilson is a SICK CB as well. Wouldn't really care which one they went up for as long as they got one of them.

I've seen Joe Hawley play about 25 times and as much as I love my alma mater I have high doubts about his ability to play in the NFL. Nice smart kid with great leadership abilities? Absolutely... NFL caliber center.... no way.

Maybe my hatred of Penn St makes me hate Odrick but I know people love him. I honestly have a biased opinion because I hate Penn St. If you guys say it's a good pick I'll just say a bite my tongue and hope for the best.

I like McCluster but my guess is he's boom or bust just based on his style of play.

The rest... I'll just say I'm glad Rex Ryan and Mike T are making the football decisions and not Todd McShay

Yeah I saw that on Sportscenter today, and I understand to call it a reach at 27...but he said he views Burnett as a 4th round prospect which is just absurd.

Personally I think round one for Burnett is high as well but whatever, that same mock had Odrick falling to us so I cant complain to much

McCluster just doesn't really make sense for this team either, people seem to forget Leon Washington is still on the roster. Unless Leon is traded, I don't think we're going to draft a 4th-string RB in the second-round on a win-now team, even though McCluster value-wise wouldn't be a bad choice in that slot.

If we did go with McCluster, Leon would be gone in the interim between Days 2 and 3. I've always maintained that his bottom value is at a 3rd for me, but it always depends on the value on the board. I'd hope for a 4th at that point.

McShay strikes me as a guy that would wear 2 black eyes well.

If we take McCluster then he gets the #3 spot automatically, probably the slot WR spot too.

Holmes will play there. Cotchery stays as the security blanket on the outside.
