This is my last post until Monday. I am heading to bed because I have a two hour drive tomorrow to cheer on my Colts to another AFC Championship. You guys and gals have been great. We have agreed, disagreed, called each other names, and threw shit at each other for a week now. But this is it and here we are; 14 hours until kickoff. None of anything any of us said will make a difference. We all feel it in our hearts. One team will feel on top of the world and the other team will feel the despair of facing yet another offseason without a Super Bowl appearance/victory. No matter what, we have to remember what it’s like to be on the losing side of things and how much it hurts to be a diehard fan of game we love so much. Respect, dignity, honor, and humility are all we are ever left with. This game could go many different ways. There are some great matchups including: Manning vs. Jets defense, Wayne vs. Revis, Jets run game vs. Colts run defense, Caldwell vs. Ryan, and Sanchez vs. Colts pass defense. And let’s also not forget the importance of Special Teams. I will be back here on Monday. Not to gloat or spend all day getting beat-up, but to say good game – no matter what the outcome is. I think I have found a place away from home to come and talk football and I am looking very forward to the draft contest here. Luke is going to be ROCK’N Tomorrow afternoon!!! Best regards, freebo
Another great post man, well said. You set/meet the standard that certain Steelerfans set a few years ago. Congrats on the great season and the 14-2 record.
You should see his stuff in the Rex Ryan thread. Apparently, nobody runs on the Colts unless they let you.
Freebo... I just visited "your" Colts site for the first time. I tried, but I couldn't find a single post on the first page about football or the matchups for this game. Not one. What I did find was a lot of photoshop stuff, a lot of indignation and trash talk, and other than being good for a few chuckles at Coltrs fans being stupid, an otherwise complete waste of time. I feel sorry for you. You don't have a forum where you can talk Colts football. One guy was bragging about how he dressed down some well behaved Jets fans in a restaurant, and prided himself in the fact he let his mother and wife walk out first before he started to curse these two guys out. Very classy. The one thought I left with... these knuckleheads are VERY worried. They seem to think the more they rant about how the will kick the Jets asses, the better their chances are to win. Gonna be a lot of whining on that board today!
I've been on there too and Freebo was banned ...for what I don't know. Maybe being one of the few posters with some brains. Actually a guy named Naptown was a pretty good poster once he calmed down. (he had a great time with the All signs point to link I sent him) I got into some heated debates over there and all they kept saying was how many yards they had in that first game yet none of them ever admitted the Jets were in the game down 5. I did see one thread in which alot of them admitted they had bad feelings and were worried. It's funny I'm not nervous, worried or have any bad feelings and I'm thinking maybe I should. I just can't sleep... it's like that kid that knows he's getting a bike from Santa Claus but his parents won't wake up to let him open the Xmas presents.
