I'm not sure what to make of his visit. Even at his age and Durability he's better than any Center we've got on roster right now. I think he'd be an asset in terms of his leadership and experience, considering how young most of our O-Line is. I guess if he comes at a reasonable price I'm for the signing, but he's just so old. I can't see him lasting any longer than a year or so, as I imagine the 2nd year of his contract will probably be more than the team will be willing to dish at his age. Thoughts?
He is still a good player..can teach your oline. Its all good. Because our defense knows him very well.
Let Miami keep signing old or injured (or both) players. With some of Mawae's blocking...er.... am.... "techniques", I wonder how popular he'll be in that locker room?
TBird, it's going to suck when he is clubbing DRob...I'm sure he will be popular there when he is doing to us what he has done to our opponents over the past few years.
One of the main problems in Miami ovre the years is that Jason Taylor has been a leader of that team.
what a trader. i think he is taking it personally. he wants to screw the jets. no wonder why he was let go
At his age the injurys are going to start comming...a pull here and sprain there, I would like the fins to sign him. Breese is going to have a long road ahead of him with that shoulder. Remember, in his final game he tore his shoulder, he may not be back till week 8 and he may not be the same guy he was before. He is a huge risk
I thought he said he was going to sign with the place that gives him the best chance to win a super bowl.
Zack Thomas is the one player most excited about KM coming to Miami. Zack has been steam rolled by KM for 7 years now.
Funny guy. If the Phinz sign Mawae, it's payback time, and instead of Zach getting run over, it will J. Vilma.... Later....
If the injury isn't a problem,he still has plenty left in the tank. I really am not that high on Breesso if they sign him,i really don't care, but a cutting Mawae was a mistake. If the Dolphins sign him I would hate to have to face him on the line twice a year.
Well, you have to expect the guy to earn a living. I have no problem with where he goes. He can still play the game. I do have a bit of a problem with some of the cheap pot shots he has been quoted on. It leads me to believe the letter he wrote JI was just a bunch of bull. I think he said something that was inappropriate to the organization given the change in management and that was that.
True. At 35 years old, you don't have a lot of time to wait around for a ring, so if KM takes the job in Miami, he must believe that they can win a championship in the short term. Woo-f**king-hoo.
