Wow what a stupid move by the Bills - Cassell was eventually going to get released more than likely. They are 2 for 2 right now.
Not at all. I didn't say great moves. I didn't say championship moves. These moves don't make them contenders to knock off the Pats. I said solid moves. A very very dynamic RB and a QB that I think will be a huge upgrade over what they have and could be a long term solution for them. Not a "franchise" QB, not an "elite" QB, a solid starting QB. Rex just added a RB much better than any on our roster and a QB better than any on our roster. I can't see how these moves can be thought of as "bad". _
Cassel's great…if you want a stopgap for like a year maybe. was pedestrian in MIN, did his job till he got hurt I'd say. they needed an alternative vet to Manuel, who's development was put to the sidelines for Orton in a fit to win now. this bills team is in win now mode too by the look of it. too bad the QB market is so bare…
Cassell is shit, and not much of an upgrade over a Geno Smith or even Michael Vick. Absolutely not worth a 5th round pick. They could have just waited to sign Sanchez, whom I believe is a better QB then all of them.
yesterday was a much better day for Buffalo than today. Cassell is better than Orton but that isn't saying too much. this tells me they haven't given up on Manuel by bringing in a vet he can beat out.
Cassell is a big upgrade over Geno, we no longer have Vick and Sanchez (who IS better than all of them) is not a free agent and would have cost more than a 5th rounder. If Kelly is going to cut or trade him, which no one knows yet. I was one of the posters hoping we traded for Mallett as our stop gap until Mariota is ready Again, solid move. _
I was one of the posters hoping we never traded for Mallett & Glennon (both major douche faces that suck ass) Matt Cassell is worse then Matt Moore, think about that for a second...Cassell is owed $4.5 million plus another $500k bonus in 2015
