Maines fighting to keep his spot in the rotation tonight, so he better shut them out!

Marlins in a funk after a hot start, the Mets are the perfect team to face when you need to stop a skid.

fighting with who? the whole rotation besides johan is terrible right now, and if they had any SP talent at AAA Livan wouldn't have been brought in.

    put it in the books!

7-1 win, with K-Rod coming in even with the big lead.

I think the Mets, Need about a week of hitting with RISP before I start to believe there is a heart on this team. I liked the fact we got 6 in the first but was hoping for some add on runs and saw only one.

Good job by Maine he bounced back from a bad game nicely.

Wow, Wright is just a disaster so far this year.

His OBP is .372. Not good, but I think "disaster" is overstating it.

Yeah, and his slugging percentage is .400, he's striking out in about 1/3 of his at bats, he's hitting .222 and slugging .333 with RISP (.250 and .325, respectively, with runners on base), and he's been getting worse as the season has gone on (.245 BA, .327 OBP, .327 SLG in the last 13 games). Wright is the best hitter on the team - you're darned right it's been a disaster, and I'll bet he'd agree, too.
