I rarely agree with your doom and gloom takes but this is spot on. We gave him everything he needed year 1 then slowly dismantled everything around him as the years went on. One of the biggest failures in Jets front office history which is a lengthy list.

 

Outside of the OL slowly falling apart and never being rebuilt(Faneca, Moore, Woody) the one defining moment in that Management history of a debacle was the choice of Holmes over Bray Bray. Still to this day thinking about it and reminiscing over it with family and friends I always say "What the fuck"

Well the hours certainly suggested that his/its posting was constrained that way.

My best guess is that the staff wouldn't let the thing run unattended because of fears it would start hallucinating in an obvious way and not get fixed until Monday morning.
