    hey, another new guy here. wassup with mb? i havent seen him on most jet site rosters.

    RFA. the jets didnt offer him a contract (tender offer)

    is the LB (Chatham?) they signed from the Patriots an upgrade over mark brown?

    yep.

    i think so. brown is just too small, he cant play the 3-4. he's only 6'0 and too weak. chatham has been a solid backup in NE and knows their defense (wich IS a 3-4 :grin: ) pretty well, plus he's got great size.

    Both are similar players, Chatham has experience in the Belichick/Mangini defense, so I'd say he is a bit of an upgrade.
