I just heard on the NFL Network that Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber will be inactive for tomorrow's contest against the Steelers due to his dislocated toe. This is going to be a HUGE problem for Dallas as they are already without RB Felix Jones (on IR due to torn toe ligaments) and the forecast calls for snow. I've said before and will say again, I would LOVE it if Dallas did not make the playoffs while Atlanta did.
Barber's not long for this league in light of the way he seeks out contact and absorbs so much punishment.
Yesterday Rotoworld said Barber is questionable. That means he has a 50 / 50 chance of playing. Marion Barber-RB- Cowboys Dec. 5 - 3:48 pm et Marion Barber (toe, questionable) missed practice for the third straight day Friday and will be a game-time decision in Week 14.
Yeah, it sounds like he didn't even make the trip to Pitt. http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/news.cfm?id=0DD26B43-048F-14F9-8624244B3E12428A
Agree 100%. If you saw the Giants/Cowboys playoff game from last year, you could actually see how Barber was a different player in the 2nd half. He's great at beating up tired defenses as the change of pace guy, but he's got to change his game if he wants to be a starting RB.
big hit for my fantasy team which is trying to make the playoffs. Barber is my first round pick. Pittsburgh should win.
