    Gm 1: Burnett vs. Hernandez
    Gm 2: Vazquez vs. Vargas
    Gm 3: Sabathia vs. French

We need more consistent starting pitching from pretty much everyone minus CC, so hopefully the shitty ass Mariners are the start of something good. They typically play us well, though, and Felix Hernandez is a force. Let's gun for 2/3.

No offense and no pitching. They will still get to the playoffs (I guess) but probably not get out of the first round.

I see you're vying hard to reclaim your 2008 title. How is it that you aren't still the reigning champ, anyway?

Because unlike you I actually speak the truth and don't just take the homer way out.

King Felix's last 4 starts against the Yankees:

    9.0 IP, 8 hits, 1 ER, 3Ks
    9.0 IP, 2 hits, 0 ER, 11 Ks
    9.0 IP, 10 hits, 1 ER, 9 Ks
    8.0 IP, 4 hits, 0 ER, 11 Ks

Can we get him to the NL please?

In other news, this should make people happy.

Please, Don. You don't speak the truth. You bitch and moan; that's all you do. If it were the "truth" you'd think you'd be right more often than 2% of the time.

Instead, you just assume the worst about everything. I bet you're a blast at parties. Cool people, everyone's having a good time, and you're probably complaining that the hosts don't have your favorite beer.

Already 4-4 in the top of the 3rd.

Vazquez is throwing batting practice out there--he needs to have a start skipped or something, this is unacceptable.

Also Russell Branyan became the first player to ever reach the upper deck in right field.

That pretty much sums up every Don post I've ever read.

Javy really should miss at least 1 start to see if he can get his arm back up to par. He's hurting the team every time he's out there.

Glad that Jeter has been getting back to his old self. Hes been a DP machine
for a few years now, that just has to be accepted at this point. Take the good with the bad.

I agree that Vazquez should have a start skipped.

His velocity is down, but that's only part of the problem. You can get by throwing 88 mph; but you can't get by throwing it right over the middle. It's literally just batting practice.

Good win today though. Chad Gaudin was the player of the game IMO.

Girardi just said that A-Rod's going on the DL.

    Not good.

Gawd, every player Cashman picks up goes on the DL! First Pettitte, now A-Rod. Can't he do anything right?!

I was kind of hoping it'd be Javy that got the DL stint. Dude seems like he could use some time off. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we find out after the season that he had some kind of shoulder injury all season. Guys usually don't drop 3-4 mph off their fastball for no reason.
