    Great post! Love this info!

Maye was super impressive considering he has a short camp as well. I hope he ends up making a big comeback this year.

Also shows you that Darnold was better than we probably thought.

I've been a big Marcus Maye fan. If he can only stay healthy...................

Amazing that since the 2013 draft we have not found a more capable guard than Brian Winters.

Maye had a real nice day. Would have been even nicer if the INT stood and we didn't get hit with a dogshit holding call.

Beachum got Beat a few times but it shows that the pressure came right up the middle for the most part. A QB can't possibly do much when the interior gets dominated. Winters was bad, Kalil barely played in the preseason and Osemele was decent. Gotta do better!

Just goes to show how PFF should always be used in conjunction with the eye test. Ranking Mosley 9th doesn’t recognize how impactful he was on the field. I like PFF as tool but It should not be used as more than about 25% of a players evaluation.

  8. And even less for draft evaluation. You cannot use raw numbers when comparing players at Alabama w ones at lower level schools. There are far too many variables at the college level. Certainly it provides perspective & is a useful tool but advanced metrics have little place in the player evaluation portion

Maye losing his interception on the defensive holding call was obviously not his fault, but him dropping an easy interception that cost the Jets 3 points was.

This is what Rex Ryan always preached...the best pressure is up the middle. Edge pressure is too easy to negate...just step up in the pocket or toss a screen over his head. But pressure up the middle makes for a miserable day for any QB.

This is what Big Cat Leonard Williams and Q should bring to our defense.

How did Quinen Williams grade out? I saw he created one of the turnovers by forcing a fumble.

I always thought Maye was an awesome draft pick.

If he can stay healthy, him and Jamal Adams can be an amazing duo at safety

Winters being the 2nd lowest rated guard is ridiculous considering he’s the longest tenured guy on the team. I don’t get why he gets this reputation of being an average guard. He is probably more like a backup. I would try putting Alex Lewis, Harrison or Compton in there to help fix this mess.
