Never good when a duel threat QB hurts a leg.

But this is only a sprain, and there is no reason to play him if he is hurt.

    Get that Mettenberger value up.

Joey Bosa might want to get fit for a Titans jersey ASAP.

The book has yet to be writ...but having Mariotta sit & watch Fitz play would have made me very optimistic about the future of this team.

    Damn you Stokes!

Just think how great 4-12 feels right now as opposed to 2-14.

You're right. Titans went 2-14 and felt great on draft day. This year they'll go 3-13 and feel great on draft day.

At what point does feeling great on draft stop feeling great?

When you get a franchise QB, it doesn't matter for the next 10 years how you feel on draft day.

It's just filling out the roster and for shits and giggles.

Mariota most certainly will not be able to overcome the deficiencies on the Titans roster. Titans better start hitting on other draft picks.

Tell that to Atlanta and Detroit. There's like 2 or 3 Qbs in the league that can win despite there franchises failures and Mariota is not one of those guys.

FWIW, If I were a Titans fan at this point I would be on board with getting in on the race to the bottom. They have a lot of holes to fill.

But it gets you one hell of a start.

Said differently, if you don't have one you are on the forever treadmill to no where.

Atlanta has had some success and Detroit has been a perpetual shit show.

And Mariota is better than both of them.

RGIII is calling, he wants his career back. Oh yeah, when you're not Cam Newton size you better not be making your living with your legs.

True..I just think unless your talking about once in a generation QBs like Manning or Luck worrying about draft position and rooting against your team is dopey stuff....your more likely to draft a top QB prospect in the 20's or second round. I would rather have Carr than any other prospect out there.
