Wholly Chit, man ... what are they feeding these kids nowadays! :eek:hmy:

I have been projecting Lawson to the Patriots in the middle of RD 1 for Quite some time ... I see him fitting in that McGinist role, OLB/Edge Rusher in the Patriots 3-4 ... now I am even more confident in that projection

McGinist is 34 Years old and that's a very important role in the Pats scheme .. vital role ... and Lawson seems like a perfect fit to replace Willie

I really wanted Lawton round 2, he'd fit perfectly in a 3-4 defense, and he could replace Abe at end if needed. Doesn't look like he'll last that long now though.

Lawson wouldve been good but didnt he measure around 240? We need a bigger LB IMO for the 3-4. Carpenter isnt much bigger, but hell probably be around later than Lawson, and might just be a bit of a better fit. Is he running?

Lawson measured over 6'5" and somewhere around 240, he could add weight easily. That 40 is incredable just as Vernon Davis's was.

Seeing how we're going to the 3-4 (and trading Abe) I'd love to see us get either Lawson or the equally speedy Thomas Howard who's probably not quite as good a pass rusher but much better dropping back in coverage.

Darn could've been a good option for us in the second if we went with the 3-4 but guess he'll be gone by then.

Wow. Why would anyone not want to run on this track. A lot of sub 4.4 times. I liked Lawson at the top of the second but I bet he is long gone by then.
