    By Patriot defensive players.

    http://patriots.bostonherald.com/patriots/view.bg?articleid=142101&format=&page=3

As for working with new defensive coordinator Dean Pees after a year under Eric Mangini, Hobbs said he can already tell the difference.

“I don’t want to get into the philosophies for obvious reasons,” said Hobbs. “But I think Dean is going to allow us to do a lot more. The key is to be physical.”cw0

While the statement was couched, it still reflected a commonly heard complaint among Pats players last year: that Mangini’s game plans were not aggressive enough.

He has reasons to talk trash about Mangini: He's gonna be playing against him for years.

Okay, Mangini should be fired immediately.

Dirtywater might be the only non-Jets fan who posts on this site more than rajensen.

The Pats had many injuries on defense last season. Being too aggressive with makeshift players would have been a recipe for disaster.

  6. Funny b/c I recall last season around playoff time many Patriot players coming out and complimenting Mangini's gameplans by saying "We can't wait to see how we're gonna attack the opponent every week".

Could this be sour grapes?Looks that way..but not if you're someone in denial that Herm Edwards is no longer the coach of the Jets

Thrown under the bus? I dunno, it sounds like the guy is trying to endorse his new coach.

It isn't an attack on Mangini as much as it is a compliment of the new DC.

    Not news.

No, it was a mildly negative (yet completely irrelevant) article about the Jets. Therefore, ranjen felt the need to post it. We only hear from him and get his opinion if the topic is negative. Whether it is news or relevant is not important to him.

  10. I'm not one to "throw others under the bus", but ever since RAJ started this crap, I havent found the main board nearly as enjoyable as I once did.

    excellent retort.

thing is, rajensen will not reply to this because you just trumped him and he knows it.

    cheers

Your schtick has gotten very old very quickly but still you persist, honestly what should the Pats players say. "Well our new DC sure is not as good as Mangini, I think we are gonna go downhill fast."

Yeah, he and about 3 others regularly troll here. You all know who they are. Everyone knows their MO, and they get called out and owned on a consistent basis. Yet they still come. Only good thing is since it is a little quiet in the offseason, we don't hear from them much.

Since everyone knows their schtick now, it is rather enjoyable to see them get owned by multiple members :)

    i agree.

usually, it's not cool to rain on others' parade, but when rajensen and co. get constantly owned, one post after another, it's actually enjoyable.

    cheers

I don't exactly see how this is an example of rajensen trying to start trouble. He didn't offer any opinions at all; just posted an article that's very topical to the Jets.

We all can't rip our former coach enough but the moment somebody mentions the great Mangini he should be banned?

Ugh. Maybe if this was someone else posting it, there wouldn't be such an uproar?

If this was a one time thing and an isolated incident, I don't think anyone would care. But taken into context with the rest of his history on this board, it just fits his profile.

haven't you seen his other posts?

they're all the exact same negative garbage he searches then spews every chance he can get.

like someone just mentioned, if it was an isolated incident - or an occasional rip - fine. but he never has anything positive to say; the only posts/threads he makes are attempts to degrade the Jets organization. fortunately, most people are much smarter than raj, and they counter-argue with much better points, all the while embarassing him. it's actually quite awesome.

    cheers

And for crying out loud, it isn't as if you are hearing this from some hall of famer either. It's Ellis Hobbs. He isn't the LAW, you know...
