Maybe he can take Brady out of commission and usher in the age of Matt Cassel

He will probably be my new jersey unless Gholston comes through.

My new jersey is going to be #52 David Harris, but yes I am excited to see Pace play in a Jets uniform....

Pace, to me, sounds like a do it all well type of LB, but nothing GREAT.

That was the kind of LB Lewis was and if Pace can get a pick or two and add 6-8 sacks than I think he would be worth every penny we paid to get him here.

Can't wait to see our defense next season. If they stay healthy they could be quite fast, big and flat out good. (David Harris, Kris Jenkins, Calvin Pace, Kerry Rhodes and Darrelle Revis)

What the hell does Mangini even know about Mo Lewis. He was about 12 when he played.

I know you're just trying and failing at being a wiseass, but Mangini was a defensive assistant for the Jets from 97-99.

I don't care so much about the sacks. I want to know how well he can discourage the other team's players, when he gets to chat with them one on one.

Where is that LT glee at besting somebody for all time?

We need a bad ass linebacker on the NYJ. We haven't seen such a thing since there was Marvin and Mo in their primes.

He was? I thought he was Cleveland's ball boy then. No, I guess he wasn't, that was a year earlier and to be perfectly accurate he was 20 when Lewis started playing with the Jets. Nothing much changes with my original statement.

If he's the next mo lewis, than the QB he knocks out will lead that team to a dynasty and piss us off for 8 years. I don't want that.

Mo Lewis was kind of good right off the bat and for about a decade. Comparing some guy who had a great year in his contract year after sucking it up for 4 years to Mo Lewis is kind of stupid in my opinion.

What, that how does Mangini even know about Mo Lewis? Well I'd say he knows plenty about him with his experience as a Defensive Assistant.

Unfortunately football player analysis goes beyond "Lewis was good earlier therefore bad comparison."

Not that I agree or disagree with the comparison, but Lewis was a good sized LBer who could do anything asked of him...kind of what we're all hoping Pace is from what we've been hearing + what coaches have been saying.
