BBQ's.. Yes that's right Mangini is giving his scrimmage winners BBQ's.

    http://www.nypost.com/sports/jets/green_grins_on_bus_ride_jets_mark_cannizzaro.htm

    Mangini quoted from Camp Ed:

"Little things, like the meals that they'll be eating after the game are a little bit different," Mangini said. "It's barbecue vs. cold sandwiches, movies on the bus vs. no movies on the bus. There are a few other things, too, a little bit of a break for one side and little more work for the other side."

And you're still and ass. Trying to drive home the point I guess, huh? Why do you even bother posting on this board?

Thevillageneedsanidiot.com is still looking for qualified posters- you have my vote.

There is no association between Edwards' training camp and Mangini's. In the NFL it is all about winning. Mangini is just trying to drive home that point.

    This is a stupid thread.

    Raj,

You're trying to sell something that doesnt exist. I firmly believe that you think there are a few idiots on this board that would read an article like that and say "wow...he is just like Herm"

Trust me, there are no morons on this board that would ever put the pieces of the puzzle together and come up with a common link between the two.

You will not find anyone foolish enough to agree with you..and you will not see anyone stupid enough to make a thread about it.

Well..that may not be true...when brushing your teeth this morning..raise your head high enough to get a good look in the mirror.

Since you will not find anyone that will agree with you...I have come to the conclusion that you are a closet submissive...that you like the beatings you get here on a daily basis.

At least something good has come from all of this..now get the help you need.

Do you take your green Kool - Aid intraveneously? Here's the coaching staff:

    HC Mangini
    OC Brian Schottenheimer
    DC Bob Sutton

So highly respected, not one of them had an interview with any other team. Instead of blind allegiance why don't you try being a real Jet fan instead of waving your Gameday program in blind allegiance to the great leader.

Yeah, this thread coming from the same guy who said Herm is actually a better X's and O's coach than Mangini.

The only X's and O's Herm knows are the ones floating in his Alpha-bits cereal in the moring.

No..only Herm supporters can admit to drinking Kool Aid.

See..the difference is this...if you want to defend Herm...lock yourself in a closet and go for it.

Herm Edwards had LESS...LESS...LESS. experience before he was hired by the ny jets. LESS. MUCH LESS.

I couldnt care less about respect..that plus a roll of toilet tissue..you can wipe your ass with. It means nothing.

Saying one guy had a bbq and then another guy had a bbq and comparing them that way...is the most absurd thing I have ever read on this board.

What is your point anyway. You love Herm...because EM did the same thing...then EM is the same kind of great coach you think Herm is????

This thread actually should be convincing you...not us.

Heres another one. Two worlds have collided so that RAJ and champ have found common ground.

Are you serious too champ? bbq's in the world of sports form common grounds between coaches????? Are the Jets the only team ever to hold a bbq for their players....EVER?

Thats like saying I put my underwear on the same way as you so that makes us the same person.

I had a BBQ for family yesterday....can I now coach the Jets? I even had my wifes family sit in the sun as punishment. My family sat in the shade. I expect, any second now, I will be getting a call from MT to coach the Jets practice squad.

This has to be a dream this morning.

No just that Herm & Man both served BBQ in camp which makes it a common bond. That is all no hidden agenda

And they both tell the running backs to run faster...Im sorry..I dont get the comparisons.

We could sit here and look for things that coaches do alike..and holding a bbq is something that im sure...90 % of teams do.

In fact...Im thinking of starting a thread announcing each teams summer bbq bashes..just so everyone will be kept up to date.

I dont get the thread..and I dont understand a poster having to explain the thread.

Now...if EM decides to take a knee in a pivotal part of a game to take some time off the clock and settle for a 72 yard field goal...then..make a thread saying that play "looked familiar".

And he brought his team to the movies last week, which gives him a common bond with Belichick. If he thinks it's a good idea, I support Mangini barbecues ever third day. Hell, fire up the grill daily, for all I care. What's important to me is what he does between heaping piles of potato salad. All indications are that it is dramatically different than Clud Ed.

It's the implication of both the thread title, and the original post. Otherwise, why even MENTION Herm Edwards?!
