Those of you who saw The Dark Knight Rises saw the teaser... What do you all think? Henry Cavill I always thought was born to play the role, it was a choice alot of fans wanted when Singer went with a unknown for the Superman Returns. This a completely new origin film, same route as Batman. The Comic-Con trailer was nice. Thanks for posting it. Didn't get much out of the teaser I saw with TDKR, but the Comic-Con one makes it look cool.

let us please not curse this movie with any association with Superman Returns. That movie was so bad it fucked up two comic movies -- Superman and X Men 3.
They had the trailer during TDKR, and it made me immediately think that DC was going to go the route of marvel comics (just from the way it looks), and use this movie as the starting point for a Justice League movie. No idea if itll happen or not, but theyd certainly be able to make a shitton of money if they did
If they do Justice League, then expect a Batman character to be introduced in that film and then spawning the next batman series...its a cycle lol
I dont think theyd put both batman and superman in it. I think its too much star power, theyd go with one or the other while building up reputations for some of their lesser known characters. Because theyve been getting their ass kicked by Marvel in the whole comic book movies thing
I dont know, but they eventually have to have those two in that film for this to be the ultimate JL film
Probably although one might be more of a complementary role, where the other is the star. Id guess Superman being the star, since the Batman franchise has had a much more success in recent years
I'll have to watch all those trailers posted but I just saw one teaser on youtube and I thought it looked pretty stupid by the trailer. Like there was no action at all, at the very end you see him flying so that was cool. Otherwise it was just shots of like fields and a kid wearing laundry as a cape. But I'll watch those other ones. I'm just not that big of a superman fan though. Although I wouldn't count myself as a big batman fan either but loved the Dark Knight series (still have to see Rises, hopefully this week).
Not sure it it got taken down yet, but check out the bootleg comic con trailer...people wanted that to be the trailer. i guess they are saving that for a later release.
I can't wait for this and the various character movies before Justice League... I love Justice League, Have watched all the cartoons related to it...
I actually read that they have indeed been working on a Justice League movie (which they supposedly started before the avengers came out) and recently had to change writers and stuff. If it comes out its gotta be a good couple of years away, but id be absolutely SHOCKED if they dont. I just think the hardest part is to balance batman/superman vs all their other characters. I mean with Marvel and the Avengers Ironman, Captain America, The Hulk, Thor were all huge huge before the movie came out (ok maybe not Thor as much as the others), where DC really only has Batman and Superman plus a bunch of completely unknowns.
